Day 87

Day 87 - checkup 6, 80x59x84, 48kg. Foreseeing your questions about my eating schedule and special tricks that helped me lose weight (however slow), I’ve written this.
I’ve been on no particular diet, what I did was (mostly) exclude some products from my ration (at the beginning of the process) and then eat only as much as important not to feel hungry (starting from December), and take up swimming, here’s how I’ve come to my current weight. On a deeper, overall level, my ‘diet’ lasted for about 12 months, from Dec 2010 when I weighed 60+ kilos till Dec 2011 when I weigh 48. But 12 months are worth 15 lost kilos.
Speaking of what exactly products didn’t get into my mouth, they are (value the secret I’m revealing to ya^^): coffee, bread, pastry (that means no pancakes, cakes, puff buns, sausage rolls, donuts etc – dough is your enemy!), eggs, icecream (yes, you hear me right, no icecream which you like to eat so much). You can indulge in any of these but in measure. Sounds harsh? It’s just the beginning of this list of products. Try to avoid too greasy food, anything cooked with much oil must not get into your organism. Don’t drink fruit fresh or juice – contrary to the general belief of their usefulness, they’re not your friends in weightlosing. The most important must-not is fast/junk food, soda, crisps, salty snacks; a can of Coke once in 2 months, if you can’t resist it, is alright, though. Sugar is unfavorable, but occasionally I ate sweet things such as choco candies and bars (although I tell you I hate cheap chocolate because it bears this disgusting aftertaste of soap, like you’ve chewn a lump of it) as well as added 2 spoonfuls of sugar into my big cup of black tea. No alcohol, if you can do without it, but it wasn’t my case as I’m a total gin-&-tonic lover. Smoking-wise, no comment – I’m for healthy way of life.
As for must’s, they include: seafood mix (shrimp/prawn, octopus, squid), vegetables and fruit (especially grapefruit, but I ate many lemons and limes too), green tea (at least 3 cups a day, but I drink about 7), and straight water, the more the better, and don’t worry, your body will tell you when you’re full and when it’s enough; I drank much during the day, not necessarily water, mostly tea, green and black, with about 1 hour interval between cups (you can imagine how often I had to go use the bathroom, and this during the working day, it was a bit embarrasing at times but weightloss is my priority so I actually don’t care what collegues think), and besides, I couldn’t do without soup because I like it, even though I mostly eat broth, not meat or other ingredients. I ate cheese as much as I wanted (although not recommended) and pickled champignons – since they’re my favorite. Of course, there were moments when I ate big meals, primarily on weekends when Granny or Mom cooked extra delicious dishes ;)
